Carmen Zammit Farrugia is a teacher by profession. Carmen graduated from the University of Malta in 2002 with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Contemporary Mediterranean Studies. In 2013 she was awarded a Post-Graduate Certificate in Education with specialisation in Social Studies. For the past seventeen years she worked as a secondary school teacher and as an advisor at the Ministry for Education and Employment. Her current role is that of an advisor at the Ministry for Research, Innovation and the Coordination of Post Covid-19 Strategy.
