Dr Alistair de Gaetano currently acts as the Secretary to the Malta Space Taskforce. He has prior experience with other Government boards and committees, such as the Foundation for ICT Accessibility (FITA), the Autism Advisory Council and the Bioethics Consultative Committee. He also has prior experience with working on Strategy issues, one of the main responsibilities within the remit of the Taskforce, having worked on drafts of Malta’s National Disability Strategy and National Autism Strategy. Dr de Gaetano is a lawyer by profession, and holds a PhD from Trinity College Dublin. A disabled person, he also brings a disability perspective to the Taskforce’s work whenever this would be necessary.
